Walkerville Vet

Walkerville Vet is a community-focused veterinary clinic based in Adelaide, founded in 1999, that offers comprehensive, hands-on care for pets with an emphasis on building long-term relationships between clients, their animals and the clinic team. They highlight personalized, stress-reducing care delivered by experienced veterinarians and nurses, using modern diagnostic tools like ultrasound, X-ray and endoscopy alongside routine services such as vaccination, desexing and microchipping. The clinic provides dental care including examinations and teeth cleaning, blood testing and blood pressure monitoring, and performs soft-tissue surgery when needed, referring to specialists for complex cases. What stands out is their focus on education and wellness: they run puppy preschool classes grounded in positive reinforcement to support socialization and owner training, and share pet care advice through blogs and social media to keep owners informed. Walkerville Vet promotes transparency in pricing and a client-centered approach that aims for familiarity and trust, with a comfortable, well-equipped facility designed to reduce stress for animals. Overall, they position themselves as a full-service veterinary practice that combines modern medicine, ongoing staff education and community engagement to support pets’ long-term health and owners’ confidence in care.
