Cavy Cottage Guinea Pig Boarding is a specialist guinea pig boarding provider based in Perth, founded in 2014, that focuses entirely on making stays comfortable, healthy and low-stress for small cavy companions. They offer purpose-built guinea pig lodges designed with glass fronts, good ventilation, fleece bedding and a variety of enrichment items so guests have a secure, cozy and stimulating environment. Daily care routines include high-quality hay, fresh vegetables, fortified pellets and fresh water provided every day, reflecting an emphasis on nutrition and routine. The operation caters to owners who need holiday or temporary care and emphasizes stress-free, enriching stays tailored specifically to guinea pigs rather than general pet boarding. Pricing and stay options include special rates for multiple guinea pigs and discounts for extended stays, which can make longer holidays and multi-pet households easier to manage. Overall, this service is aimed at guinea pig owners seeking dedicated, small-animal expertise and facilities that prioritize the animals’ comfort, welfare and enrichment while their owners are away.
