Cat Haven Op Shop is the fundraising and community retail arm that supports Cat Haven’s rescue, shelter and rehoming work for cats. The Op Shop raises vital funds and collects practical supplies—towels, blankets, carriers, litter, treats and toys—that are used to care for cats in the shelter and in foster homes. You can support the organisation in many ways: by making one-off or regular financial donations, donating goods, recycling bottles and cans through Containers for Change, or leaving a legacy gift in your will to help long-term projects. Beyond fundraising, Cat Haven Op Shop helps connect volunteers and foster carers with the shelter: volunteers assist across op shop teams, grounds and other operational areas, while foster homes give cats a quieter, temporary environment to recover and prepare for rehoming. The organisation also accepts support specifically earmarked for site redevelopment to expand and improve shelter facilities. If you care about helping cats, the Op Shop offers practical, accessible options—shop or donate goods, give your time, recycle for funds, foster a cat, or contribute financially—to directly support rescue, sheltering and rehoming efforts in the local community.
