Dog Manners

Dog Manners is a Melbourne-based dog training service focused on helping families build a clear, respectful relationship with their dogs through practical, hands-on training. Led by founder Lydia, the service emphasizes communication and mutual understanding rather than food rewards, offering a treat-free approach to improving manners, obedience and everyday behavior. Offerings are tailored to the dog and household, including private one-on-one sessions, puppy-specific in-home training, and weekly group classes that support socialization and real-world skills. Practical skills covered include gate manners and leash walking, and training is available both at Dog Manners’ Altona North location and in clients’ homes, which helps lessons translate directly into daily life. The business highlights personalized support and guidance to help owners confidently manage common behavioral issues and nurture a stronger bond with their dogs. Dog Manners also maintains a community presence with positive reviews and active social media engagement, suggesting ongoing local involvement and client satisfaction.
