If you’re looking for a caring, experienced dog grooming salon in Carlton North, Pet Art Dog Grooming is a long-established option worth considering. Founded in March 2000 by Helen Altmajer, Pet Art combines more than two decades of grooming experience with a personal, compassionate approach that prioritises dogs’ health, happiness and wellbeing. In 2021 the business moved into a purpose-built, modern facility designed to offer a safe, welcoming space where dogs feel comfortable. Their services cover the practical basics—nail trims, face trims and hygiene trims—through to full bathing, tidy trims, clip-offs and breed-specific or stylised cuts, as well as specialist hand-stripping for coat types that need it. Prices and service formats vary by size and coat condition. Pet Art also supports independent groomers by providing hire space for professional groomers, reflecting a community-minded approach. Overall, Pet Art presents itself as a professional, experienced salon focused on gentle, high-quality grooming and meeting a range of grooming needs for dogs of different breeds and coat types.
