Step Out Paws

Step Out Paws is a registered pet care business based in Burwood, Victoria, run by a dedicated mother-and-daughter team who focus on reliable, compassionate care for dogs. They specialise in tailored dog walking designed to meet each dog’s individual needs and to provide both physical exercise and mental enrichment, plus in-home pet sitting to keep pets comfortable and cared for while owners are away. Their approach is grounded in a ‘Do No Harm’ philosophy using encouragement and positive reinforcement to create a stress-free experience that builds trust and confidence rather than relying on force or fear. Safety and professionalism are highlighted: the team are certified in Pet First Aid and Concept Training, hold public liability insurance, and have completed police checks. Practical features include free meet-and-greet sessions to discuss each pet’s requirements, off-leash dog park outings for socialisation and exercise, and pet care consultations to provide advice on behaviour and enrichment. They operate Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, are currently accepting inquiries via a contact form, and maintain active Facebook and Instagram profiles showcasing happy pets and their outings. Overall, Step Out Paws presents itself as a caring, professional local option for owners seeking personalised, safety-minded dog walking and in-home pet care.
