Urban Hounds is a Melbourne-based dog care provider focused on giving each dog an enjoyable, safe, and enriching day. They operate from a purpose-built facility with temperature-controlled areas, non-slip floors and large play zones designed to encourage social interaction and physical activity while prioritizing safety. Their core offering is structured dog daycare that blends supervised play, socialisation, curated activities and rest periods to suit a range of needs. For dogs who need one-on-one attention or have special requirements, Urban Hounds runs adventure walks tailored to extra exercise, socialisation or gentle handling for anxious, reactive or senior dogs. They also run a retail shop stocked with enrichment toys, treats and lifestyle products to support dogs’ mental stimulation at home, and offer venue hire for dog-themed parties and community events. The team emphasises a holistic approach to welfare—combining professional care with enrichment, safety protocols and thoughtful programming—to help dogs stay happy, active and connected with their owners.
