Joni & Co. is a Fitzroy-based pet care business that focuses on positive, caring services for dogs and their owners. Located at 226 Johnston Street, they combine professional dog grooming with training and community-minded activities to support overall pet wellbeing. Their puppy school offers a friendly, positive learning environment and socialisation for young dogs (with specific programs for puppies around 8–14 weeks and 4–6 months), while private dog training sessions are available to address unwanted behaviours and build good manners. Joni & Co. emphasizes owner education and ongoing support, helping owners continue training and care at home. They also collaborate closely with Johnston Street Veterinary Clinic to ensure a holistic approach to pet health and wellbeing. Beyond grooming and training, the business runs community-focused offerings under “Pet Commons,” hosting activities and events that bring pet owners together, and they offer bespoke pet accessories. Overall, Joni & Co. presents as a neighbourhood-focused pet service that blends grooming, positive puppy socialisation and training, veterinary collaboration, and community engagement to promote happy, healthy dogs and informed, confident owners.
