Trained Tails

Trained Tails is a Northwest Indiana dog training and boarding business serving the Chicagoland area, founded and operated by Zac Galvan. They focus on personalized, one-on-one in-home training and structured board-and-train programs designed to resolve behavior issues, teach obedience, and build routine and confidence. Training approaches emphasize positive reinforcement, trust, and clear communication, and are tailored to each dog’s needs—whether you have a young puppy needing socialization and basic skills or an adult dog needing behavioral modification. Trained Tails highlights experience across a range of dogs, including police K9s, service dogs, and family pets, and offers puppy-specific options like in-home puppy lessons, puppy start-up programs, and socialization work to help with potty training, crate training, nipping, and early confidence building. The board-and-train program places dogs in a structured environment under a customized plan with regular updates to owners, while in-home lessons provide practical, hands-on coaching for owners to reinforce skills at home. Overall, the business positions itself as client-focused and committed to helping dogs become well-mannered, confident companions while strengthening the bond between dogs and their owners.
