Top Dog Pet Resort is a family-owned dog boarding and daycare facility on the Bellarine Peninsula (Marcus Hill) that has been serving the Geelong area since 2008. They offer spacious kennels with inside/outside access and landscaped garden views, creating a calm, resort-like environment where dogs can relax and enjoy supervised exercise and play. The resort emphasizes personalized attention and high standards of care, including a requirement for current C5 vaccinations and pre-arrival flea treatment to protect all guests. There’s a dedicated small-dog section for smaller breeds, comfortable bedding provided (owners may bring their pet’s own bedding), and large outdoor yards used for play and confidence-building activities that help relieve boredom and anxiety. The business is family-run by Dave and his family, who focus on friendly customer service and treating pets like royalty, and they also support local animal welfare initiatives. During holidays and peak periods the resort manages bookings and payment based on reserved days to ensure reliable care for guests. Overall, Top Dog Pet Resort presents itself as a trusted, long-standing option for dog owners seeking boarding or daytime supervised care in a tranquil, well-maintained setting.
