Hoppys Place Rescue Inc

Hoppys Place Rescue Inc. is a community-focused cat rescue based in Melton, Victoria, Australia, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. They operate a foster-based model so animals recover in home environments while they receive medical treatment, de-sexing and behavioural rehabilitation as needed, which helps prepare them for permanent adoption. The group also runs community education and outreach to promote responsible pet ownership and reduce pet overpopulation, working with veterinary clinics and other rescue groups to provide necessary care. Hoppys Place highlights rescue stories—such as Hoppy, a survivor of abuse and neglect—to show the positive outcomes foster care and targeted medical support can achieve. Their approach combines hands-on animal welfare work (rescue, foster care, medical treatment and adoption placement) with advocacy, de-sexing initiatives and social media engagement to increase adoption rates and community awareness. The organisation’s focus is squarely on improving the lives of companion cats and kittens and preventing unnecessary euthanasia through ethical rescue practices and community collaboration.
