Barbara’s Pet Minding Service

Barbara's Pet Minding Service, based in Reservoir, Victoria, offers warm, personalized pet care focused on keeping pets comfortable, safe and happy while their owners are away. Barbara provides in-home pet sitting where she stays in the pet’s familiar environment (including one walk per day), and also offers dog minding at her own home where pets can roam indoors or in a secure courtyard — both overnight options are priced at $50 per night for one pet with $5 for additional animals. For shorter needs she offers 30–40 minute drop-in visits (one or two visits per day) that include playing, cuddling, feeding and even watering plants; drop-in pricing is $32 for the first visit and $6 for the second, with $5 per additional animal. Daytime care (doggy day care) is available from 8:30 am to 6 pm at Barbara’s home or the pet’s home, includes a walk and is $40 per day, with surcharges for extended early or late hours. Barbara emphasizes a highly personal approach: pre-visit discussions to learn each pet’s routines and preferences, regular updates with photos and videos, and flexible, communicative service that many clients describe as reliable, attentive and caring. Her offerings suit pet owners who want someone trustworthy to stay with their pet overnight, host their dog in a home setting, provide daytime supervision, or perform reassuring check-ins while they’re away. The service highlights safety, individualized attention to each animal’s quirks, and a reassuring level of communication so owners feel informed and at ease.
