If you’re looking for a calm, cat-only place to leave your feline companion, Shiralee Boarding Cattery in Reservoir, Victoria presents itself as a long-established, welcoming option. Operating since 1970 with decades of hands-on experience, the facility focuses exclusively on cats to provide a quiet, low-stress environment: roomy walk-in accommodation, secure safety doors, and a tranquil landscaped garden setting. The owners and staff are experienced breeders and cat lovers with many years of knowledge, and the operation is vet-supervised to ensure medical needs are attended to. Shiralee emphasizes cleanliness, individualized care and safety — they require current vaccinations (minimum F3) before admission, encourage owners to bring familiar items from home, and can cater to special dietary requirements. Practical details from the cattery include competitive rates (noted at $20 per day per cat), flexible booking policies, and personal viewing appointments so owners can see the environment beforehand. In addition to boarding, Shiralee is involved in breeding Burmese kittens with an emphasis on health and temperament. Overall, it’s presented as a comfortable, secure, and experienced option for cat owners seeking hands-on, cat-focused boarding and related services.
