'Til The Cows Come Home is an Australian non-profit dedicated to rescuing, fostering and rehoming farm animals so they can live as companions rather than commodities. Founded in 2018, the group rescues animals from exploitative situations in industries such as dairy, egg production and meat processing, and works to place them into loving, permanent homes. They run adoption and fostering programs, accept surrendered animals and provide rehoming assistance for vulnerable farms and families. Volunteers and foster carers are central to their work, helping with rescue missions, animal care, fostering and administrative tasks. The organisation also raises funds through donations and merchandise sales—using branded items and storytelling to support their rescue efforts. Community engagement is a strong focus: they share individual animal stories (for example Evie, Donkey and Teddy) to raise awareness and inspire empathy, and they celebrate milestones such as their 10,000th adoption to highlight impact. Overall, the charity combines hands-on rescue and care with advocacy and fundraising to transform the lives of unwanted farm animals and promote kinder treatment of animals in society.
