Four Paws K9 Training

Four Paws K9 Training is a long-established dog training school (est. 2001) based in Melbourne with locations in Sunshine West and Parkville, offering reward-based, positive reinforcement training for puppies and adult dogs. They run a range of structured programs including puppy kindergarten/puppy socialisation classes, basic obedience, and specialized reactive-dog work designed to address dog-to-dog aggression and other behavior problems. Beyond group classes, they provide one-on-one private consultations and in-home behavioral assessments, plus practical "walk and train" sessions to put training into everyday contexts. For accessibility, they also offer online courses so owners can learn remotely. The business supports professional development through educational seminars and workshops (run directly and via their Noble Canine subsidiary) aimed at trainers and organizations, covering topics like aggression, multi-dog households and behavior assessment. The approach emphasizes building confident, well-behaved dogs and stronger owner-dog relationships through positive methods, with experienced trainers and community engagement that supports both pet owners and professionals seeking further skills.
