Wag It Dog Walking is a local, hands-on pet care service run by Liz that focuses on reliable, compassionate care for dogs and other companion animals. Liz brings a background in veterinary nursing and formal training (Certificate III in dog behaviour and training), and she emphasizes humane, knowledgeable handling. Core services include rain-or-shine dog walks that run for at least 45 minutes (including travel time), with flexible options for group or individual walks and on-lead or off-lead arrangements to suit each dog’s needs. For dogs who need extra support, Wag It offers one-on-one basic training, obedience work, and behaviour coaching designed to strengthen the owner–dog relationship, and group obedience classes are also offered or recommended when appropriate. Beyond paid services, Liz actively volunteers with animal rescue groups (notably Forever Friends Animal Rescue), reflecting a strong commitment to animal welfare and community engagement. Clients highlight the company’s reliability, professional approach, and tailored care — Liz aims to match walks and training to each animal’s temperament and owner goals while maintaining safety and positive outcomes. Wag It serves dogs primarily and also supports cats and small companion animals; the business balances practical dog-walking routines with positive reinforcement training and rescue involvement, making it a good fit for owners seeking experienced, compassionate care and behaviour support for their pets.
