Kalmpets

Kalmpets is a Perth-based pet care practice focused on veterinary behaviour services and training for dogs and cats. They use evidence-based, positive reinforcement methods and a holistic approach that considers nutrition, exercise and the human–animal bond to help pets become calmer and better-behaved. Kalmpets works directly with pet owners to assess and address common issues such as anxiety, aggression and separation-related behaviours, tailoring interventions to each animal’s needs. They also support professionals — including veterinarians and trainers — by providing specialist behaviour input and expert opinion for formal matters when required. Services emphasize practical, science-backed strategies that improve communication between people and their pets and create sustainable change at home. The practice highlights collaborative, compassionate methods that prioritize welfare and long-term wellbeing rather than quick fixes, making it a resource for owners seeking thoughtful, professional behaviour support for both dogs and cats.
