Pearsons Farm

Pearsons Farm is a family-friendly farm retreat in Clarendon (about 10 minutes from Morphett Vale) that invites visitors to relax, connect with animals, and join hands-on farm activities. Guests can meet, feed, pat and talk to a wide range of farm animals — including goats, sheep, alpacas, horses, ponies, donkeys, chickens, ducks and geese — and even collect fresh eggs. The farm also runs educational activities like learning about bees and tasting honey, gardening and picking fresh produce to use in meals, plus craft and recreational experiences such as pony painting, apple bobbing, boat racing on the dam, painting scenic views, barbecues and homemade Devonshire tea. Horse riding and pony-leading are available and can be booked using core or therapy funding; Pearsons Farm also runs groups for animal social time, gardening and pony activities and supports visitors using NDIS core funding with mentors. Native animal encounters include species such as pademelons, sugar gliders and bettongs. Visitors can drop in, come regularly, or stay nearby in respite houses for weekend visits, making the farm a versatile spot for families, individuals and groups seeking outdoor learning, social connection and therapeutic engagement with animals and the rural environment.
