Sassy's Cat Cafe and Adoption Centre in Felixstow, Adelaide blends a cosy cafe experience with a rescue and adoption centre for cats and kittens. Visitors can relax with coffee and snacks while spending time with resident cats — many of whom are available for adoption through the centre's partnership with local SA cat rescue organisations. Entry fees (which vary by age and duration) help fund the care and wellbeing of the rescue cats, and bookings are encouraged to secure a spot. The venue aims to give rescue cats a calm, social environment to adapt to people, improving their chances of successful rehoming. The cafe also runs a variety of events for all ages, including kids' activities, school holiday programs, birthday celebrations, and unique sessions such as cat yoga and meditation. The centre shares profiles of its resident cats and uses social media to post updates and success stories of rehomed animals. Overall, it offers a welcoming place to meet and support rescue cats while enjoying a cafe visit and participating in community-focused events.
