Paw by Paw Playhouse Dog Grooming & Daycare

Paw by Paw Playhouse is a dog-focused grooming and daycare service in Lonsdale, South Australia, built around gentle, force-free care for anxious, rescue and emotional dogs. Founded in 2016, the team has grown its facilities to make grooming and play comfortable and low-stress: multiple grooming rooms (including a private space for sensitive dogs), high-quality tools and products, and transparent viewing areas so owners can watch their pets. Grooming options include baths, brushes, trims and full grooming, all delivered in a cage-free, positive-reinforcement environment where patience and trust are prioritized. In 2018 they expanded with The Playhouse — a purpose-designed area with an in-ground pool, sniffing stations and play equipment — and in January 2025 they added a dedicated small-dog daycare area to better serve smaller breeds. The daycare program emphasizes socialization, play and restful downtime in a safe, supervised setting tailored to each dog’s needs. Overall, Paw by Paw Playhouse focuses exclusively on dogs of all breeds and sizes and stands out for its compassionate, experience-driven approach to helping nervous and rescue animals feel secure during grooming and daycare visits.
