House of Chances Animal Rescue

House of Chances Rescue is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit animal rescue based in Melbourne that focuses on giving vulnerable animals a true second chance. They specialize in rescuing and rehabilitating animals with high medical needs, injuries, behavioral challenges, or those who are otherwise overlooked, and work to prepare them for loving permanent homes. The team runs fostering programs so animals can recover, receive socialization, and be assessed in a home environment while awaiting adoption. When animals are adopted through the group, they are supported with essential health measures—microchipping, desexing, and vaccination—so adopters receive a pet ready for family life. House of Chances relies on donations and volunteer effort to deliver extensive medical support, including surgeries and ongoing treatments, and they actively engage the community through fundraising and awareness activities. Their track record includes successfully rehoming hundreds of pets and providing substantial medical and care funding, underscoring a deep commitment to animals with special needs and to helping adopters, fosters, and supporters make a real difference.
