KT’s Dog and Cat Grooming Academy

KTs Dog & Cat Grooming Academy is a hands-on training centre and grooming hub for people who want to work with or better care for dogs and cats. Led by third-generation groomer Kylie Tatti and a team of experienced trainers, the academy blends classroom learning with practical experience in a professional salon environment so students gain real-world skills. Courses range from a Practical Pet Stylist program to a Home Grooming course aimed at pet owners, and the curriculum focuses on technical grooming techniques, animal handling and safety, plus business know-how to help graduates succeed. The academy emphasizes practical training with access to up-to-date grooming tools and equipment, guest artists, grooming socials and discounted grooming services, creating a supportive community for learners and local pet owners. They also run seminars and workshops to support ongoing professional development and industry trends. Alongside training, KTs operates a retail outlet supplying shampoos, scissors, clippers, dryers, salon furniture and other professional grooming products, making it easy for students and groomers to source quality equipment. Warm and industry-focused, KTs positions itself as a place where aspiring groomers can build confident hands-on skills while pet owners can learn to care for their animals or access grooming services and supplies in a professional setting.
