D.B. Boarding is the dedicated cattery operating under Elgar Road Vet, with more than 30 years of experience in feline boarding and care. Founded by vet nurse Devon Bayly to meet the need for a specialist cat boarding service, they focus on personalised, compassionate care tailored to each cat’s personality, dietary preferences and medical needs. The facility features spacious, climate-controlled indoor enclosures and secure outdoor exercise areas designed to promote comfort and natural behaviours, with staff experienced in handling cats with medical or behavioural issues. Because the cattery operates alongside veterinary services, cats have prompt access to health checks, treatments and emergency care when needed. Services highlighted include boarding with individualized care plans, support for cats with chronic conditions, and routine veterinary procedures such as vaccinations and desexing; they also assist with kitten adoption. The cattery maintains policies around vaccination and age requirements to protect all guests. D.B. Boarding serves a wide area around Melbourne (including Balwyn, Blackburn, Burwood, Camberwell, Canterbury, Deepdene, Doncaster, Donvale, Mitcham, Mont Albert and Surrey Hills) and can be contacted by phone at 9898 8978 or email at cattery@elgarvet.com.au.
