If you’re looking for a truly outdoor experience for a city dog, Polly’s Paddock offers a farm-style dog daycare that’s designed to let dogs run, play and socialise in a large, secure paddock. Located about 30 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD in a small valley, the facility uses a fenced 1-hectare area within a private property so dogs have plenty of room to explore different areas set up for activity and rest. The team emphasises the natural, rural setting as a key benefit compared with indoor daycares, and owners report dogs returning home happily exhausted after a day of running, playing and even swimming. Polly’s Paddock also provides convenient pick-up and drop-off from homes in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, with flexible access arrangements such as keys, lockboxes or gates to suit owners. New clients are invited to a free meet & greet so dogs can be introduced to the environment and staff before attending. The small, farm-based operation highlights attentive care from staff (with positive mentions of a team member named Chris) and shares activity updates on social media, giving owners confidence in the day-to-day experience.
