Rosedown Boarding Cattery

Rosedown Cattery is a peaceful, family-style cat boarding facility set in a tranquil valley in Silvan, about 45 minutes east of Melbourne, that focuses on keeping cats comfortable, safe and stress-free while their owners are away. They offer both short and long-term stays in recently upgraded, clean accommodations designed for feline wellbeing — large indoor rooms with window views, private hiding spots and larger suites for multiple cats, plus communal rooms for social cats that each link to outdoor cages so cats can enjoy fresh air and natural views. The team prioritizes individualized care: they accommodate dietary needs, provide comfortable bedding and spacious pens, and include enrichment elements like climbing structures and sunbathing areas so each cat can relax or play according to personality. For colder months, heat pads are available for extra comfort, and the cattery also offers optional pick-up and delivery transport for added convenience. Staff describe their approach as loving and attentive, aiming to meet each cat’s individual needs and make stays as calm and enjoyable as possible — summed up by their motto about the special gift of a cat’s love. Practical details such as phone and email contact and seasonal operating hours are provided for bookings and enquiries.
