Animal Aid Veterinary Clinic in Coldstream is a community-focused veterinary practice offering attentive, comprehensive care for a wide range of pets. The clinic’s renovated, calm environment is designed to make animals feel safe during health checks, vaccinations, microchipping, desexing and dental treatments. They provide soft-tissue surgery and a broad suite of diagnostic services including in-house pathology, radiography and ultrasound to help quickly identify and treat health issues. The team also offers advice on diet and nutrition and promotes responsible pet ownership through programs such as Desexing Mondays, microchipping initiatives and referral discounts. Animal Aid combines clinical services with a larger welfare mission: visits help support Animal Aid’s shelter and adoption programs, and the clinic actively encourages donations and community involvement to fund surgeries and essential procedures for vulnerable animals. They operate Monday to Saturday (closed Sundays and public holidays) and coordinate 24-hour emergency care via affiliated centers when urgent attention is needed. Under the leadership of Veterinary Director Niko Maritz, the clinic emphasizes a compassionate, holistic approach and keeps the community connected through newsletters and social media.
