Alpha Boarding Kennels

Alpha Boarding Kennels is a family-style boarding and canine training facility set on 10 acres in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria, offering a calm, nature-filled setting intended to keep dogs relaxed while their owners are away. The centre emphasises low-stress care, with spacious accommodation options including luxury suites and long-term boarding arrangements, and a focus on personalised attention to each dog’s comfort and wellbeing. Beyond overnight stays, Alpha operates an extensive training program through The Alpha Canine Group: weekly obedience and socialisation classes, puppy training, behavioural problem-solving, and professional seminars for trainers. They also run an intensive Alpha Boarding School for Dogs that combines boarding with focused training work, plus other educational courses aimed at improving canine behaviour using positive reinforcement and established leadership systems. The facility caters to a broad clientele, including local pet owners and veterinary referrals from across Melbourne, and promotes welfare-minded practices by integrating natural surroundings, experienced training methods, and tailored care plans to help dogs be happier, healthier and better behaved.
