The Alpha Canine Group

The Alpha Canine Group is a specialist dog training and boarding business based in Macclesfield, Victoria, that offers a wide range of hands-on services for dog owners and professionals. They focus on a standardized, humane training approach (the Alpha system) aimed at achieving strong obedience and resolving behavioral problems across breeds, with trainers demonstrating methods using their own well-trained dogs. Offerings include weekly obedience and behavior classes, puppy socialization, an on-site Alpha Doggy PlayCare for safe social play and exercise, and luxury boarding kennels and suites for short- or long-term stays. For owners wanting more intensive intervention, the company runs boarding-and-training programs (noted 10- or 20-day options) where dogs receive distraction-based, real-life training before returning home. They also provide private in-home tuition available across Australia for tailored, one-on-one sessions. Beyond pet owner services, Alpha delivers practical educational courses for industry professionals and runs workshops and multimedia content to support ongoing learning. The business also lists pre-trained dogs available for sale as family pets. With a small dedicated team, a professional and transparent ethos, and an emphasis on demonstrable standards through trainers’ own dogs, The Alpha Canine Group markets itself as a full-service provider for obedience, behavior change, socialization, boarding and professional training.
