Kangal Dog Town is dedicated to preserving and promoting the Sivas Turkish Kangal as a working livestock guardian and family protector. They focus on breeding healthy, well-tempered Kangals and placing puppies in homes or farms that match the breed’s needs; prospective owners are evaluated through a puppy questionnaire to ensure each placement is responsible and suitable. The organization emphasizes the breed’s traditional traits — independence, strength, loyalty, and calm at rest with a protective nature when working — and encourages early training and ongoing monitoring so dogs thrive in their roles. Kangal Dog Town prioritizes responsible breeding practices, attention to health and temperament, and transparency about lineage and breeding outcomes through regular updates. They also provide educational resources and connections to breed organizations to help owners learn about Kangal history, care, and management. Overall, this operation is aimed at serious, informed owners who understand the unique requirements of a livestock guardian and want long-term, appropriate homes for these dogs.
