Pooch n Pounce

Pooch n Pounce is a Melbourne-based pet sitting service that looks after dogs and cats in the comfort of their own homes, offering flexible, friendly care designed to put pet owners at ease. Run by founder Jodie, who brings a lifelong love of animals to the role, the service focuses on personalized attention: meet-and-greets to ensure compatibility, followed by visits that include walks, play, feeding, and companionship tailored to each pet’s routine. Pooch n Pounce operates seven days a week and serves suburbs within roughly a 5 km radius of Essendon, VIC, making it a local option for owners who want reliable, regular care close to home. The business emphasizes safety and trust—staff are insured and police-checked—and aims to be affordable while providing regular photo updates so owners can see how their pets are doing. Their process is simple: send an inquiry, arrange a meet-and-greet, and start the scheduled walks, drop-in visits, or in-home sitting. With an emphasis on building strong relationships with both pets and owners, Pooch n Pounce positions itself as a caring, dependable choice for everyday pet care needs and short-term care when owners are away.
