Heeling Hounds

Heeling Hounds is a small, client-focused dog training service based in Australia that uses positive, force-free methods and personalized programs to help dogs and their owners. Run by Tom as a one-person operation, the business emphasizes one-on-one training tailored to each dog’s needs so every animal has the best chance to succeed. Heeling Hounds specializes in behavioural solutions for reactive or socially challenged dogs, employing desensitisation and Behavior Adjustment Training (BAT) protocols to reduce reactivity and improve social skills. A notable feature of their approach is the inclusion of Tom’s calm Border Collie, Sidney, in training sessions to help reactive dogs learn through positive reinforcement and example. Services focus on improving obedience, socialisation, and owner understanding of canine behaviour; sessions also include guidance for owners so they can continue progress at home. The overall aim is to strengthen the relationship between dogs and their people through compassionate, effective training that promotes wellbeing and social confidence. The website provides booking options and contact details, reflecting a practical, client-oriented way to arrange personalised training sessions.
