Professional Dog Grooming Training (PDGT)

Professional Dog Grooming Training (PDGT) is a training organisation focused on educating people in professional dog grooming techniques and preparation, with an emphasis on building practical skills and formal certification. PDGT’s core offering is a range of courses designed for those entering the grooming industry as well as people seeking to enhance existing grooming abilities: introductory pet grooming, hands-on practical grooming, bathe-and-prepare training, advanced professional dog grooming training, and a recognised certification pathway through Cert III (ACM30122). The programs focus on practical grooming practices and preparing dogs for grooming, and aim to help learners gain the competencies needed to work as professional groomers. PDGT positions its training around skill development and industry-relevant qualifications so that participants can improve their professional capabilities and pursue career progression in dog grooming. Whether you’re starting with an Intro to Pet Grooming or aiming for the Cert III qualification, PDGT centres its work on practical, technique-focused instruction and accredited certification to support people preparing for roles in the grooming field.
