Cat Haven Op Shop

Cat Haven is a non-profit dedicated to the welfare of cats across Perth and Western Australia, offering hands-on care and community support to help cats find loving homes. They run a shelter for homeless, lost, and abused cats and actively facilitate adoptions with set open hours for adopters (weekdays from 10:00 am to 5:45 pm and until 4:00 pm on weekends and public holidays). For pet owners who need short-term care, Cat Haven operates cat boarding with specific collection hours (9:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday to Saturday, and 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sundays and public holidays). They also recruit and support foster carers to provide a more comfortable, home-based environment for cats in need, with foster support available during extended weekday and Saturday hours. Beyond direct animal care, Cat Haven runs retail operations to fund its mission: a reception and shop that offers pet food, toys, furniture and accessories (open daily with varied hours), branded merchandise, scratching poles and cat supplies, plus two Op Shops in Scarborough and Willetton selling clothing, books, homewares and more — both accepting donations. The organisation also operates community fundraising initiatives such as a Containers for Change recycling scheme so supporters can donate bottles and cans to raise funds.
