Cat Haven is a long-established not-for-profit cat welfare organization based in Perth, Western Australia, founded in 1961 and described as the largest shelter for homeless, lost, and abused cats in Western Australia. They focus on rescuing and sheltering cats and run adoption and foster-care programs that place cats into permanent homes or temporary foster environments, supplying foster carers with necessary supplies. Cat Haven also provides lost & found and rescue services to reunite cats with their owners or care for strays and abused animals. Beyond direct animal care, Cat Haven runs boarding services so owners can leave their cats in safe, caring environments when they are away. They support their mission through fundraising activities including two op shops (in Scarborough and Willetton), an online store selling cat-related products and branded merchandise, and participation in the Containers for Change recycling scheme. The organization offers opportunities for volunteers to assist in shops and other roles. Veterinary-related services focused on cats are part of their operations, and they accept donations to support their work.
