Greencross Vets Subiaco

Greencross Vets Subiaco is a full-service veterinary clinic located in Subiaco, Western Australia, operating inside the Homebase Subiaco Shopping Centre within Petbarn. Led by Veterinary Director Dr. Kin Yi Yip, the clinic positions itself as a comprehensive provider of pet healthcare focused on maintaining pet health and happiness through all life stages, with an emphasis on exceptional service, veterinary medicine, and preventative healthcare. The clinic offers a broad range of primary and preventative medical services: desexing (surgical neutering/spaying), vaccinations for kittens, puppies and adult pets, heartworm prevention, and general pet wellness programs designed to support long-term health. Oral health and dentistry are included among clinical services, with dental care such as teeth cleaning specified for cats and dogs. Diagnostic and surgical capabilities are highlighted, with on-site diagnostic imaging (X-ray/radiology) and a scope of laboratory services. Clinical pathology and laboratory testing are conducted in-house for rapid analysis, including blood tests, urinalysis, fecal testing and biopsies, supporting accurate and timely clinical decision-making. The clinic thus provides both routine and advanced diagnostic support as part of its medical care. In addition to core veterinary medicine, Greencross Vets Subiaco provides grooming services—advertised as premium grooming for dogs, including bathing and trimming—which complements their clinical offering. The practice also runs puppy-focused education in the form of a Puppy Pre-School, described as a socialization and training course running for four to six weeks, aimed at supporting puppy development and behavior during early life stages. Overall, the clinic presents itself as an integrated pet health service within a retail environment, combining clinical veterinary care (medical, surgical and diagnostic services), preventative medicine (vaccinations, desexing, heartworm prevention), dental care, grooming, and puppy socialization/training programs. The stated operating context inside a shopping centre Petbarn suggests convenient access for pet owners seeking both veterinary and associated pet services in one location. The information provided emphasizes a patient-centered approach to maintaining animal health and wellbeing across life stages under the leadership of Dr. Kin Yi Yip.
