Alert Dog Training

Alert Dog Training is a Perth-based dog training and behavioural coaching service that offers personalised help for dogs and their owners, from puppies through to adult dogs and rescue animals. Established in 1991, the business focuses on building clear communication and a respectful bond between owners and their dogs through a holistic, tailored approach. They run one-on-one private in-home training sessions as well as group classes and pack walks for socialisation and real-world practice. Programs cover general obedience, puppy basics (toilet training, nipping, jumping), and a wide range of behavioural issues including aggression, reactivity, pulling, barking, destructive behaviour, hyperactivity and anxiety. There are also specialised options for rescue dogs to ease their transition into new homes. Practical, flexible formats include “Buddy Up” sessions (training with a friend at a discounted rate) and post-private group sessions to reinforce skills in a controlled social setting. To support owners between lessons, the business provides extra resources such as educational YouTube videos. Overall, Alert Dog Training aims to give owners effective tools and guidance to help their dogs become well-mannered, confident companions.
