Paws & Reward

Paws & Reward is a friendly, Adelaide-based training service that specialises in positive, reward-based programs for dogs, puppies and cats. They focus on building trust and clear communication so pets and owners enjoy everyday life together, using science-backed, humane techniques. Programs are tailored to the animal and family — from private puppy school and puppy college to small-group life-skills classes for family dogs. Practical offerings include basic manners (sit, recall, loose-lead walking and settling), rapid recall training, confidence-building for shy or fearful dogs, and targeted work for aggression and lead reactivity. They also teach canine cooperative care so dogs willingly participate in grooming and vet handling, and provide snake-avoidance training for dogs in snake-prone areas. For cat owners there are specialised cat training sessions addressing aggression, litterbox issues, scratching and introductions. Beyond one-on-one and group classes, Paws & Reward runs community education and workshop programs to make evidence-based pet training accessible to the wider community and schools. The team emphasises ongoing professional development and animal welfare, delivering gentle, effective methods designed to strengthen the bond between pets and their families.
