Leadership K9 Training

Leadership K9 Training is a dog training organization led by Maureen Fielding that focuses on building a trusting, cooperative relationship between people and their dogs using positive reinforcement and responsible leadership. They offer a range of practical, hands-on programs for owners who want clear communication and a well-behaved pet, from puppy socialization and obedience classes that set a strong foundation to private obedience sessions tailored to individual behavioral needs. For people who want to explore scent work and tracking, they run tracking classes in forest and urban settings and specialized odor-detection and air-scenting courses that develop a dog’s natural scenting talent — useful for sport or operational tasks. Classes are designed to be engaging and supportive for both dog and handler, with instruction adapted to each team’s goals and skill level. The business maintains an active calendar of classes and events and shares success stories and competition achievements, highlighting their experience producing titled tracking dogs. Overall, Leadership K9 Training emphasizes kindness, clarity, and consistent leadership to help owners develop confident, happy dogs and a stronger human–dog bond.
