Klever Kanine Dog Obedience School runs practical, owner-focused group training for dogs of all breeds and sizes, with the philosophy that owners need training to create happy, obedient dogs. Classes progress through a structured grading system from beginner levels up to advanced Grades 4–6 that prepare dogs for obedience trial standards, and some members pursue trialing with tailored coaching. Training is delivered in weekly group sessions across three locations (Ridgehaven, Belair, and Mount Barker) on Sundays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and the format encourages owners to practice and build confidence as each grade builds on the previous. The school operates with a simple, flexible payment approach (a one-time membership fee plus a per-class charge) and no ongoing contracts or annual fees, allowing owners to attend as needed. Health and safety are emphasised: vaccination certificates are required and certain equipment rules apply (collars, harnesses, head halters, martingale and slip collars are permitted while spiked collars are not). Classes are weather-dependent and will be cancelled in heavy rain, extreme heat or long weekends, with updates provided via their Facebook channel. Overall, the program is practical, progressive and owner‑empowering, focusing on real-world obedience skills so owners can confidently manage and enjoy life with their dogs.
